Make the most of the energy possibilities offered by the environment

In addition to harnessing sunlight through photovoltaic panels, there are currently other ways to reduce our energy dependence on general grids. Solar wind energy, better known as aerothermal energy, is another of the most efficient and sustainable ways to take advantage of solar radiation throughout the year.

This system uses heat from the outside air to heat or cool the home, making it a much more efficient option by taking advantage of a renewable source. Thanks to its high efficiency, aerothermal energy can reduce energy consumption in heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water (DHW) by up to 70% compared to conventional systems, without compromising comfort.

And although it uses electricity to operate, it is a very efficient system, since for each unit of electricity it consumes, it generates several units of thermal energy, which translates into energy savings and less environmental impact. Specifically, for each kWh of electricity consumed, it can generate between 3 and 4 kWh of thermal energy, standing out in efficiency compared to other more polluting systems such as gas or diesel boilers. In addition, if the electricity comes from other renewable sources such as solar or wind, the system becomes a 100% green solution.

Uses of aerothermal energy

Aerothermal systems use the thermal energy of the outside air to heat spaces and heat water. They work through a heat pump that extracts heat from the air, even at low temperatures, and transfers it to the heating, cooling or domestic hot water (DHW) system.

One of the most notable advantages of aerothermal energy is its versatility, as it can be integrated with different heat distribution systems, adapting to the specific needs of each home or building:

  • Low temperature radiators

These radiators are designed to work with water at a lower temperature than traditional radiators, making them ideal for aerothermal systems. Thanks to this, a comfortable environment is achieved without the need to consume large amounts of energy.

  • Underfloor heating

Underfloor heating is one of the most efficient and comfortable options to combine with aerothermal energy. This system distributes heat evenly across the entire surface of the floor, creating a warm and pleasant environment with low energy consumption. In addition, it can be used for cooling in summer if the system is designed for this.

  • Fan coils

These units distribute heat through forced air, offering fast and efficient air conditioning. They are especially useful in spaces where a more immediate thermal response is sought and allow both heating and cooling, making the most of the capabilities of aerothermal energy.

In addition to conventional integration into domestic hot water, this system also serves to provide hot water efficiently and sustainably to outdoor water surfaces, such as swimming pools or outdoor showers.

In addition, this system offers even greater versatility, ensuring thermal comfort even in summer. Aerothermal energy can operate in reverse cooling mode to help cool indoor or outdoor areas, helping to create zones with regulated temperatures.

We carry out complete projects

Frida Solar's goal is to provide all of our customers with a simple and accessible way to integrate solar energy solutions into their homes and businesses.

For this reason, we take care of the entire process, from the design to the installation of aerothermal systems adapted to the needs of each client, ensuring the best performance and a short-term return on investment. In addition, if we combine it with photovoltaic solar energy, we can achieve a home that is practically self-sufficient from an energy point of view, maximizing savings and reducing CO2 emissions.

Whether for homes, businesses or communities, our wide range of solutions allows us to create customized systems that optimize comfort, reduce energy costs, and actively contribute to caring for the environment. A goal that we continue to follow and fulfill during more than 10 years of specialized experience as a solar engineering company.
